  • but you're talking about modern day astrology.

what i am saying is if you were born a thousand years ago, you likely won't and didn't travel far you're local for life. the season there, the ecosystem there is influenced by the season so there was a time when astrology absolutely made sense

this is not the astrology of today.

but my point is you're basically coming off like one of those aggressive atheists declaring it is wrong and dumb when you like actually aren't really seeing the history of reading the stars as a respectable thing.

also it literally doesn't matter. nowhere you go on the planet is going to replicate a time before artificial light. even if you left the planet, you won't see the true night sky of earth

  • totally massive topic change but i really find this whole "astrology isn't real" stuff to be kinda funny.

i think you fail to see what the sky looked like when people really believed this stuff, you'd believe it too seeing the sky all lit up and gorgeous.

on top of that, i sort of do believe babies born in certain times of the year whether it is the time of the year or diet of the mother really influenced them and their attitude. babies in winter probably were held more and developed different than a baby born in the summer able to go outside and be exposed to pollen.

our world now might be so chaotic it doesn't apply but at the time i think astrology makes absolute 100% sense. you really don't think the seasons or how the planets are aligned have any impact upon our day to day life or child development?

  • tbh there needs to be a conversation about the honey industry.

while the food is definitely important, honey bees are not native to areas. they edge out natural pollinators solely for capitalist profit. it isn't the most destructive habit capitalism causes but honey bees should be raised in land they are native to.
