Is there a cable that allows the device to show an alert if the user does not grab the correct part when unplugging?

    Longer answer: You could try to design such a thing, but alerting the device is a lot harder than making the cable beep.

    It’s support in a thousand other systems that deal with addresses that’s the real problem.

    For something like a street address, interoperability is a hell of a lot more important than culturally preferred spelling.
