Had to watch a YouTube video about Metapod to know what you were talking about. I don't think Pokemon existed when I was a kid but Metapod isn't a million miles away from what I imagined.
I believed that peas were the pupa of something similar to a butterfly or a moth. I refused to eat peas for years because I felt so bad eating little baby critters. I think my aunt might've "encouraged" me to think that.
According to Dave Chappelle's portrayal of Clayton Bigsby, probably not.

I started a new conlang. The idea is to use sounds that require minimal movement of the mouth. It's already quite weird.
I used to have a similar type of rage towards my parents and my existence. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fAsHGEB69P0 this Alan Watts video helped me move past it. Not saying it will definitely help you, but it's worth a shot.

Re: The Mountain Goats, See America Right is my favourite of theirs. Don't even know why. First time I heard it on the radio, it just rattled me.
Well the coffee guy wasn't there, and I got a ham and cheese thing instead of a hotdog. There was a trestle table with the first t scrubbed off, so I sat there a while waiting for a wrestle. Alas, no one wanted a wrestle. Disappointing all round, really.
I might visit the slightly unhinged coffee van man at the market. He's quite switched on in a lot of ways, but he seems to have lived a difficult life and is struggling to carry the load somewhat. We have some interesting conversations, and he usually gives me a free coffee. Also there is a hotdog stand near him and I might get a hotdog.
I'll overlook it this time...
Thanks! 🙏
My first email handle was poodlecruncher. It was referring to the harmonics shrieks my guitar made when I lightly touched the fret, and had the amp turned up. Got a few strange looks with that one.
The search doesn't bring up the magazine, nor does it let me click on anything that takes me to it.
I tried to subscribe but it said something about a remote instance... I'm on mbin. I couldn't subscribe anyway.
I looked that guy up, but couldn't find him talking about 3:2. But I found another video that showed 3:2 AND 2:3 and one of those fit perfectly. I didn't realise I could simplify it to 3 and 2 - I was trying to find 4/4 over 6/8 and all sorts of nonsense. 3 and 2. Simple. Cheers.
