  • Nah...I'm spoken of in four letter words by the magats...CNN is a bad source these days.

  • being entirely reliant on a commercialized, sycophant AI that could be used for manipulation, investing large amounts of money in it…

If you're using the internet regularly, you're falling into the first hole mentioned there. That ship has sailed.

investing large amounts of money in it…

At the current divorce rates (1/3 to 1/2 depending on which metric you use), it's likely a better investment.

I'm in the camp of if it can fulfill a need, go with it. It's odd as hell maybe, but I'm just old and antiquitated in my views maybe.

  • It could be. Putting adult filters on your routers and devices isn't difficult.

Whereas if this is implemented, I think it pushes the public towards the dark net...and if your intent is protecting minors, that's absolutely not the result you want.

At least on pornhub these days I have a reasonable assurance I'm not stumbling into something I shouldn't. In the dark corners of the internet, that illusion of protection is gone.

  • The DoD is salivating over this one. They get to link IPs to passports.

  • Lol...no...dude...This will disappear in a few days. He's not sucking all that Trump stubby for nothing.

  • The only reason to hold Tesla right now is political. Do you believe Musk can continue sucking Trump's dick to profits? It's plausible...

Their cars are trash in the global market. China is owning everyone in the EV market. Domestically, they're not a bad buy used, but for their sticker price there's much more compelling options out there. The cybertruck is one of the worst products in automotive history. It'll be mentioned with the Pinto as far as engineering failures go.

  • fight like hell for the integrity of your role and department

Lol...no...that ship sailed. The D's sold us out and Trump won. I'm not calling out anyone for needing to feed their families and keep roof over their heads. Staying at this point is suicide (maybe literally).

  • Lol...the AI needs some more training I think.

  • It's a Republican kid... he'll be out in 30 days.

  • He's not complaining about us being ba workers. He complaining the average Joe doesn't treat their manager like a king like in Indian culture.

I worked for an Indian company once, I only made it 12 months before the harassment became too much.

  • Ok we are in line as far as our thinking goes...now chew on this...60 percent of Americans can't read above a 6th grade level. Those are your peers. Do you really want someone that struggles with The Hunger Games to decide a life or death case?

I just hope I'm never put to trial. Facts simply don't matter any more and theater wins.

  • There's simply not a "just" system of laws. I'm not an anarchist or anything, but trying to pretend the US justice system is more or less fair than the things that came before it, or contemporary systems in other countries is pure fantasy.

Might makes right has always been the way with humans, and I think it will always be the way with humans.

  • Are we that lazy that we can’t be bothered to make do without a burger sometimes?

Yes. 3/4 of America is fat to super fat.

  • but the system produces the fewest unjust outcomes.

Lol...phew...omg...phew. Thanks for that, I needed a good laugh today.

The US justice system is easily one of the most corrupt in history at this point. It's honestly kind of disturbing someone can make a statement like that with a straight face.

  • They will try Luigi until it sticks. It's critical to the powerful that they send the message they are beyond reproach.

  • Except it's not. I was excited when I read the headline...it's only for people under an income threshold.

It's going to turn broadband into healthcare as they try to make up that profit.

  • It doesn't matter...at all...he executes the order, deports everyone, the case makes it to the supreme Court sometime around 27 or 28 after the damage has been done.

The ruling won't matter at that point. It's pretty standard GoP procedure these days.

  • Because the average person doesn't understand insurance and believes all the lies the GoP is throwing at them about universal healthcare.

My favorite like is from people who say "I like my insurance." Oh. Really? Have you seen a specialist for anything recently? Then no. You haven't used your insurance.

  • It's less than 1% of the nation. And frankly, fuck them. If we add a point to unemployment by helping out the rest of America, so be it.

  • This starts the path to the four regions of North America.
