The "law and order" party has become the anarchy party.
I understand how "the economy" is a term that is open to interpretation and its current health can be debated. But the last two points of the original three are pretty straightforward and yet a challenge for many people.

> Nearly three in five Americans wrongly believe the US is in an economic recession, and the majority blame the Biden administration, according to a Harris poll conducted exclusively for the Guardian. The survey found persistent pessimism about the economy as election day draws closer. > > The poll highlighted many misconceptions people have about the economy, including: > > * 55% believe the economy is shrinking, and 56% think the US is experiencing a recession, though the broadest measure of the economy, gross domestic product (GDP), has been growing. > > * 49% believe the S\&P 500 stock market index is down for the year, though the index went up about 24% in 2023 and is up more than 12% this year. > > * 49% believe that unemployment is at a 50-year high, though the unemployment rate has been under 4%, a near 50-year low.
They not only "do nothing about it", most of them join in the wrong as they get older. I think it basically comes down to greed and jealousy. Not sure anyone can fix that.
This is what happens when history is forgotten. Obviously we've had inflation B4. Don't read all the negative sh*t out there. And don't let other people with their agenda run your life.
Most interesting to me is that these pissed off folks think this is something new. I remember feeling this way in 1968. And as you get older and realize you're dying, guess what. You have to go through the stages of grief again.
Yes. So Many Adjectives!
Whataboutism at the Supreme Court. We're screwed.
As long as you're not ripping up any paper it's not illegal I guess.
Exactly. And ditto on many more instances of these settlements across a wide range of businesses and individuals.
So whataboutism is now law?
FWIW, anytime someone uses the words "Everybody, Nobody, Always, Never" or their equivalent I automatically ignore whatever they are saying. Except this time, I guess. For the record, I seem to care.
I guess my problem is that this decision basically makes the public awareness of her actions go away for most people. It matters to me because she is running for public office.
This is BS. These types of agreements destroy accountability.
I feel bad for people who are influenced by influencers.
Personally, I think this kind of legal deal is BS. These types of people need to be held accountable and publicly called guilty. Every time one of them "settles" they basically get away with what they did. Most people never hear about it.
I realize we are all sinners, but why be proud of it?
Would that these Christians would read 2nd Timothy 3
