Always love when a new Good Blood video hits. This one is a great deep dive onto the design philosophy behind the Zelda series and the team's struggle to hit the right balance between freedom and guided play.
Hard pass from me. Absolutely loved the game but those "git gud" levels were the absolute worst and dragged down the experience for me.
"Look at meeeeeee" has lived in my head rent free since I first saw this.
Whaaaaat. I had no idea this had disappeared... sad news!
Thankfully it's archived at least: https://archive.is/BYZ9l
Man this feels like deep lore at this point 😂
Can't help but wonder if this would have been a hit if it was F2P rather?
Holy reflections, Batman!
Super excited for this one!
THANK YOU! And people think we're the crazy ones 🙄
Oh man. Super excited for this!
Yeah absolutely.
We read Macbeth in high school, but they dragged it out over a whole year. It was so painful!
Oooohhhh!
Oh right, yeah you're dependent on their service.
I don't have such an inventory, but I'd definitely use Notion like I do for everything else (basically)
Fyi, it's "tongue in cheek"
I use TailScale and their free Personal plan.
Disclaimer though: I haven't done much due diligence on it. It was easy to install when I first started self hosting with Umbrel and I use it so rarely that it's good enough for my usage.
Can't just be me, can it? Currently 0 for 3 on interviews because I can't seem to get past the technical interview/test. Usually because of some crazy complicated algorithm question that's never been relevant to anything I've ever had to do on the job in all my years coding.
Also, while I'm ranting: screw the usual non-answer when given feedback.
