  • (hoping it's okay to comment here)

Just wanted to say it's cool that you added a logo!

As another general note, to avoid people like me commenting on this kind of threads while I'm not a woman, would it maybe be possible to consider a rule with "non woman should only comment as second-level comments"? I've seen this on a few subreddits, it helps ensuring women comments are the most visible.

  • They are, I wish them sometimes when I know the person. It's quite nice

  • Which one are you getting ?

  • Consolidation of similar communities

  • I agree, not sure how unpopular that is however 😄

  • Unfortunately, it seems to add additional pression on the charging port, so some people prefer to keep a phone with a jack port rather than an adapter

  • Thanks! I prefer not to disclose, everything stays public on the Fediverse 😄

  • A few countries nearby to visit family. It's not that bad, that's why it's a first world problem 😄

  • Travelling too much means I can't spend time at home

  • It's not, and I don't think my English is that good for a non native 😅

  • Finding another job can be quite stressful when you're unemployed (as employers know you need them more than they need you) and severance packages depend on local regulations.

A few ex-colleagues are living close to the headquarters, but that company is basically the only employer in the area. Remote work is getting rolled back in a few places, so it's not that easy I would say.

Add on top of that people having children and not wanting to deal with the extra stress of job search when you have to care for your family.

I saw my ex colleagues recently, they told me I got lucky.
