There are many big and respectable names in the #Fediverse today. I'm curious though, where were you & what were you up to during the first 10 years of the network (2008–2018)?
@youronlyone@c.im I've been here since 2020. I wasn't really big on decentralization, but Mastodon seemed a more privacy-oriented place to settle in, so I joined out of curiosity.
This place was quiet before the Twitter exodus in 2022, and now it's bustling and very active. I like it here a lot.
