What kind of institutional gaslighting is this?
  • Oh yes. The company where I work at does these performance reviews: doing 100% gives you a 'C' (as a grade). I do everything that is expected from me without anything to complain about? Yeah, that's not good enough.

    Fuck that.

There is the silent complaint that you could do more... Give up your spare time for your work. Work yourself tired and burn out for your company! That's what they want to see.

I'm looking for a new job while I still work there.

  • German politician ‘filmed taking Russian money’
  • Depends on the job, but I think more like 5 figures. Still enough to live comfortably, but of course not enough for these greedy fucks. The reason so many are millionaires is not their salaries.

  • Festival crowd boos at video of conference speakers gushing about how great AI is
  • AI is a tool that makes us X% more productive (X is still debatable and bound to change)

But instead of making our job X% easier or let us earn X% more, work X% less, corporations are hellbent to fire X% of the workforce because that makes the most money.

  • let 'er rip
  • Ah, yes - the typical "I don't like it/it's too much of a hassle for me therefore it is useless for everybody."

Same thinking pattern that prevents the USA from adopting the metric system: I like the old system (because I grew up with it and don't want to learn something new) therefore the new system is bad.

These people should really try to be a bit less egocentric. Is it so hard to recognize that the world doesn't revolve around you?

  • oh no Germany what is u doin
  • It's simple: Germany always does what Israel wants.

You know, because of our history.

There are many people (especially the older generation) who think we as Germans can't say anything bad about Israel no matter what they do.
