But what we forget is that not long ago Lemmy was very empty at least in my experience. So I left for some period, but when I came back July this year it was just completely changed. And it stayed this way, I don't need reddit anymore personally

When I played open source games around 15 years ago, these were all the same games mentioned. There doesn't seem to be a lot of progress

Sounds good, would also be great to have some platform on the fediverse where open source music is shared, so that anyone could make their own spotify-like app to listen to it. And it would need to get some way to donate to the artists
I've watched the movie some time ago, but I think it's not really cyberpunk as it is mostly about contemporary society. If it would be cyberpunk it would have been about how modern technology is affecting us

The issue with e-commerce is mostly the same as that of social media, there are only a couple of platforms hence they can dictate everything for the users. So do you think the fediverse could also benefit e-commerce or could there be something resembling the fediverse but for e-commerce?
