  • There's definitely a huge difference between her and the rest of Chapo. Like the other three have moved pretty far to the left since the show began that I'm surprised that they still associate with her and have her on as a guest sometimes.

  • Well, don’t go to any protests/events or don’t join any orgs then if you don’t want to end up on a list of some sort. lol

I mean the people involved in this like The ANSWER Coalition have been putting on large scale protests since the Iraq War, so this ain’t some amateur lib nonsense.

  • BONUS:

“There are songs from the past that I no longer feel comfortable singing. I love ‘Run Like Hell’. I loved the music I created for it, but all that ‘You’d better run, run, run…’ I now find that all rather, I don’t know… a bit terrifying and violent.”

That’s the point of the song, Gilmour! You worked on the album! lol

The guitarist added: “‘Another Brick In The Wall’ is another one I shan’t be doing. I don’t think I’ve done that with my own band, but I certainly did it in the post-Roger Pink Floyd, against my better judgment. The same with ‘Money’. I won’t be doing that.”

He probably unironically believes the things Money is poking fun at. lol

  • "I was in Nicaragua with the Sandinistas. I've argued for Leonard Peltier, Mumia Abu-Jamal, the United Farm Workers. I've been a radical for a long time. I guess it's too bad. I'd be more marketable as a right-wing redneck. But I got into this to tell the truth as I saw it."

  • Wild that you’re comparing revolutionary optimism to self help books. I’ll have to let Fred Hampton, Mao Zedong and Ho Chi Minh know.

“The most immediate antidote to nihilism is revolutionary optimism. Revolutionary optimism isn’t rooted in a blind hope that change will come at some unknown point in the future. It is cultivated by the acknowledgement that only through participation in the struggle to liberate the people can the lives of the people be transformed. Revolutionary optimism is bolstered by a deep curiosity in and knowledge of the history of class struggle. Social change is treated as a science, one with distinct properties and elements that are both inevitable and profoundly dependent upon the actions taken by the people.”

  • Lotta lib comments here so I’ll reiterate again: REVOLUTIONARY OPTIMISM IS ESSENTIAL!

Really funny that people here are bashing JT’s video considering the positive work he does educating and encouraging people to join orgs and be active.

  • Respectfully disagree with the mods decision to delete this. Equating Hasan with AOC is an ignorant statement to make due to evidence of him being far more radical than her. Thus any attempt for me to reply to their argument in good faith, I feel, is tainted from the get-go.
