Reminds me of Drunk Jeff Goldblum
This was a great fun silly slasher story to play through with friends. It ran pretty badly on my PS4 at the time, so it would be fun to play it with a decent frame rate.
Pretty annoying that they're still requiring a PSN account though...
I have the complete opposite experience. Weed removes the guilt of not doing anything, but it usually leads to me doing nothing.
I enjoy weed occasionally because it turns off that hyper critical voice in my head, but it absolutely isn't a magic motivation medicine for most people.
After using pretty heavily last year and taking a break, I've realized that the overall effect is fairly negative, because it just makes me way too ok with doing nothing. Sometimes I need to do nothing and take a break, and it's great for helping me do that, but for me personally, it's a major negative when I'm doing it regularly.
Obviously your experience is different (as is everyone's a little) so feel free to try it, just keep in mind that it can get very easy to get addicted to that "mellow brain" feeling until you realize that all progress on all of your goals have stalled out because it's easy to just be high all afternoon and evening. There are lots of people who can be motivated and productive while high, but I think I've determined that I'm not one of them.
This is a really common experience for a ton of VR gamers. The thing I remember the most is how white text on a black background (usually my phone) made it seem like the text was really 3D and coming out at me. It fades away but I'm sure we're going to find out some interesting things about the brain from this phenomenon.
Oh I felt the same way about Bloodstained. I had no Castlevamia nostalgia and it just looked... dated.
Preferences are wild. I think the art looks gorgeous and the animation looks incredibly fluid. The art style doesn't seem uninspired at all too me.
Some people with ADHD do get overstimulated and wearing headphones/getting away from nose helps.
Didn't really love that video, since once again it's kinda vague advice. He mentions a few socialist organizations at the end but the whole video basically comes down to "find some local organization and join it".
I want to push back on the 50% figure. Most Americans don't even vote. Maybe 50% of "voters" say fuck yeah, but even that isn't accurate since he didn't even win the popular vote.
I think it's easy to get depressed about humanity when you start believing that half of the world is ok with Trump. The reality is that most of the world is NOT happy with him as an option, and even most of America is sick of him. Die hard trumpers are definitely a minority in the US, but they're very loud and enough rich people boost those voices.
I love that DIA leaned so far into the conspiracy stuff. That and Blucifer still being around make me think that the people in charge have a bit of a sense of humor sometimes.
"Sure" to me is fairly neutral, emotionally. If someone invites you to something, usually they're hoping that you will be excited to go, not just willing to go. If you respond with a neutral-sounding "yes" instead of something more enthusiastic, it makes me wonder if you actually want to go.
Overall, your tone of voice when saying "sure" could communicate that enthusiasm to go, but that doesn't really work over text, so I usually try to be a lot more enthusiastic over text communication.
It absolutely does. It's easily an S-tier bad movie. What makes it special to me is that it's very earnest and even wholesome throughout. It has plenty of terrible acting and questionable choices, but it was made by someone who really believed in it and wanted to genuinely spread a positive message. It's worth your time.
This is definitely worth playing. It's a really well made shooter and a great setting. That said, I really wish they got a bit weirder with the game. There was a lot of potential for more interesting SCP type stuff, and what is in the game is fairly vanilla. It left me feeling like it was missing something, but it's still an incredible game.
100%. I hate how everyone wants to completely burn all bridges with people who make mistakes, even when they own up and demonstrate that they understand what was incorrect about their actions. It's a very pervasive attitude on the internet and it's leaking into real life too.
Absolutely cut out toxic people and companies that continue to abuse, but recognize legitimate attempts to change and give people credit.
Publishers are usually the ones in charge of the store page and setting all that up.
It's an awesome little device! You've got plenty of games to work through, but if you feel like trying a side loaded one, give my game Pogo Arc a try: https://thesambassador.itch.io/pogo-arc
It's not a full dedicated gaming console that you're spending hours and hours playing. It's a toy that's great for quick sessions and it's really fun to develop games for. It's very well made and the software is great.
It's not a fair comparison to existing handhelds. It's niche, and definitely not for everyone. Personally, I love it and think it's just a unique toy that's fun to show people. If you'd need to get X hours of gameplay to make it "worth" it to you, it probably isn't your style.
