  • "Bad economic decisions"

The lizard people will never forgive China for standing up for itself. They kept the Qing alive indefinitely because it forced masses of starving and immiserated people to become guest laborers, "coolies" for Western capitalists. Reform Era economic liberalization wasn't enough; Unless Dow Chemical is dictating the environmental policy of Guangxi, China will always bear the original sins of authoritarianism and bad economics, regardless of how prosperous or stable it is.

  • Browbeating people into voting for a satanic right wing warmonger was a losing strategy in 2016 and it's a losing strategy now. There is a massive chance now that Biden will lose as a direct result of his actions in Gaza. This is directly Biden's fault and no amount of fearmomgering about January 6th will change it, for the record most people don't really even care.

If you're concerned about losing "our democracy", blame the DNC. That they're content with running a senile maniac who is actively facilitating a genocide should enrage you more than people online expressing their disgust with his criminal behavior.

  • Should we not take this seriously because the FOI information is fraudulent? Or is it because the publication has a bad track record (in which case I have terrible news for you about bellingcat)? Or should we disregard it because you personally find the information distasteful and inconvenient?

Unless you can prove the information is fraudulent, it would appear we're all living in the same reality in which bellingcat is a CIA op with only some of us being willing to accept it.

  • The new reactionary conspiracy theory for the right wing people is his attacker was working for the FBI and trying to silence him. It makes no sense, obviously since nobody would withhold evidence that exonerates them in court, but there's a really grim psychology there. They're subconsciously to make a Christ figure out of Derek Chauvin, which really is the perfect metaphor for American Christianity in general.

  • Dublin Riots seem similar to those Ukraine-backed airport mobs in Dagestan. A hard right telegram/whatsapp group gets whipped into a frenzy and sicked on the streets. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if intelligence agencies were at least supporting this kind of thing.
