Instagram's Threads: 'Almost every influencer will be hopping on it'
Threads won't take off as a Twitter replacement, it doesn't allow any NSFW. A lot of the people I know only use Twitter because it allows NSFW art to be posted.
1% rule: 1% of users actively create new content, while the other 99% only lurk.

IAmA mods no longer willing to work for reddit for free
Reddit has killed its golden goose. I don't see Reddit recovering from this, certainly not without reverting the API changes.
PSA: Upvote is not an upvote like you are used to (like Reddit) - "Boost" is the Reddit Upvote
I do wish there was a bit more privacy involved with boosting though, as of right now anyone can see what I boost.
