The games in the tourney have been crazy at times. I’m not big on Runick but at the top level it’s insane to see it pick apart the top tier decks. And it’s naturia on top of it!
Really hope they can do more with master duel. I find the tcg games so hard to follow at times and it’s not just the cards I’m not familiar with. It just feels like it’s crawling compared to MD.

Yeah good point. No matter the banlist there will always be staples that every deck can take advantage of. We’ll always find something to hate lol
With the finals happening tomorrow and over the weekend, I’m curious to see if any team came up with something unique to try and counter the current meta knowing the pool is limited.
Challenge is that all the meta decks right now don’t have too many cross over cards aside the common staples like MaxxC, Ash, Imperm, Called By, etc. So I’m sure almost if not all teams will have the first two plus one more as their shared cards. Then decks like Spright, Tear, DLink, Branded, Lab, Rikka, all should be able to function pretty well under the restriction.
Either way, looking forward to it and the follow up afterwards. Maybe this will help Konami realize just how much MaxxC and Ash are essentially “play it or lose” cards and adjust. Or at the very least get us a banlist that actually shakes the meta. I had my fill of Tears haha.

I’m curious how big of an impact Triple Tactics Thrust will have. Talents wasn’t popular for a long time but it’s pretty common now.

The spell is nuts. Sending two cards for cost is crazy so even if it’s ash’s, you’re getting something good out of it. Sending the new monster and a Gorgano usually sets you up well. Mirrorjade ruins the fun though with its moon targeting banish.
Finished Getting Over It which was gifted to me by a friend as a joke. He assumed I’d never finish it. He was wrong!
While it’s super frustrating I did find it to be really rewarding as well. First run took 8h. I did it again today in 40 mins.

I was waiting for the Evil Eye support and really enjoying it so far. I also got what I needed for Generaider which has been a lot of fun as well.
100% God of War on GMGOW difficulty. Went in completely blind. Took almost an hour on the first encounter as I learned the controls and the final Valkyrie was rough (although it brought everything you learned from the previous ones together quite well).
I really hated Niflheim though… so tedious.
