Cellebrite is (hopefully) used under the law. They either get warrant or use a perpetual warrant on urgent security stuff. At least in countries with proper laws and abiding police.
Hackers sure indeed can use the insecurities cellebrite is using. But cellebrite has massive amount of budget for finding insecurities which normal hackers / people lack.
My wife works an cellebritete.
Its a device you connect to any phone and it gets evidence police is looking for.
It can scan ANYTHING on the phone in seconds. This includes messages in applications, phone calls, images, appilcation data. Anything.
The smart thing about this is (if used under legal hands under a non corrupt government/entity) is it can be set up to only spit out relevant evidence by some search predicate / criteria and nothing else incriminating.
So for example if someone is arrested for kidnaping and they want to know if the suspect is really a kidnapper and maybe where the victim is it can spit out anything related to the case in question but nothing else incriminating on unrelated stuff.
It does this in under a set of rules admissible in court. IE the evidence cannot be tampered with (even by police) , it assures that the evidence is actually from that specific phone and wasnt touched and so on…
They should just do it procedurally on the fly.
because after all there was probably some algorithm that generated those all these and saved to a file. Just cut the file…

Flights are not comfortable by design, people dont always donit for the fun. Sometime you really have to take a flight even if you dont want to. Parents too.
I thought people loved LTT. Theres only hatred now in the internet.
I really like LTT. All the stuff about mistakes and inaccuracies dont feel that bad to me personally and I feel like LTT would be in a better place regarding accuracy and testing after this.
Regarding the sell of the cooling system, yeah its bad. But I do believe it was a miscommunication and mismanagement within LTT. And int that case at least money can solve it.
Regarding the sexual harassments or “sexually bad environment” yeah this is really bad. I do attribute this to their male dominant eviornent. All those little sexual jokes are so fucking lame and really belong to the distant past of history. They behave like they are 16.
The fact that they dont have women in the front of as presenters really shows they are all so sexist. Or at least the one at the top. I do hope justice will be done and everyone accountable gets the proper punishment. And I hope that after this the company will finally grow up and realize they can be still funny and with high quality without the need to oppress women.
I want to keep having fun and getting informed from LTT and i hope they can solve all that.
genuinely asking. if not targeted ads, would Norwegians prefer facebook to just post them completely dumb and irrelevant ads? possibly showing even more ads hoping that something sticks out of the random ads? is this a better solution?
