  • The age of consent in the UK is 16. Sex with someone younger than 16 is an offence. If the child is younger than 13 that offence is always rape. If the child is 13-15 it is still an offence, but whether it's rape depends on the circumstances

  • Yes! I tried a couple for Linux and they were shite 😂

To answer the 'just use the browser' comments - I don't like the tiny image box for posts. I'd like a much larger display for image/video-based posts so I can enjoy them at a glance. I'll only click into them if I especially want to read or post comments

  • I'm in the UK. When I was young it would be around 10 degrees now, 15 tops. The forecast for tomorrow is 24 degrees

  • Ah yes I remember this guy, they call him the Crystal Methodist

  • 'Facing legal trouble'. Yeah, because that's really the only negative in this situation 🤦‍♂️

  • Yeah I've been too lazy to install a custom ROM. I do use a different launcher (KISS) and am pretty happy with the phone overall. I do get the odd random crash, and the memory management is a bit aggressive

  • How come it's still not available in the UK? Legal issues?

  • Typo, but it works either way 😃

  • Also Italy colonized Ethiopia (albeit only for 5 years)

  • Dave the Diver, running pretty well on Ubuntu via Proton

  • It's a shame because I really want to use Firefox. I'm sure this is partly aggressive memory management on Android, and maybe especially on MIUI (do you have a Xiaomi by any chance?) But none of the Chrome derivatives have this issue (Brave, Vivaldi, Privacy Browser all work fine for me)

  • Sounds great, I've never been but I should do it 😃

  • Yes. If I'm away long enough they might, but I've just switched back to Brave after about an hour away, and no refresh. Whereas Firefox would refresh every time I switched app, which made it unusable for me. E.g. enter username on a webpage, switch to password manager to copy password, switch back and Firefox reloads the page. Infuriating

  • I never found a solution, switch to Brave. Still use Firefox on desktop

  • Snooker. And Test cricket
