Audio books? is Audioserve still the bee's knees?
  • I have audiobookshelf, along with readarr for downloading and the two have a totally compatible naming structure configured so it works like a dream. Not 100% sure it was that way at default or if I had to configure readarr to match what audiobookshelf needed.

It's annoying it won't subfolder the server under domain for reverse proxy, but that's not too much of a worry.

  • Invidious dragging to a halt
  • Seriously worth a go, takes minutes to setup if you're already ready for docker containers. Restart it often (dailiy is the official guidance, i find it doesnt need that with only me as user, i just do it when it starts to feel sluggish) - and I've put it behind a reverse proxy with auth to keep it to myself

  • have I installed TWRP?
  • Have a look on xdaforums for your device, there will be guides. With the Samsung for example you have to enable bootloader flashing in existing rom developer options otherwise it will overwrite on a fresh boot. Gxda is a trove of info though

  • [Feature Request] Mark read on scroll

It would be really handy to have posts auto marked as read on scroll like some other clients do, makes keeping a fresh feed basically guaranteed.

My Pixel 6 Pro commited suicide this week

Woke up on Monday and my Pixel 6 Pro wasnt quite fitting in the case while i was checking news while having coffee on the morning. Pushed it in and it didnt seem to fit right. Took the case off to find it had turned itself into a spicy pillow and was splitting along the side. Was 1 month inside warranty, messaged support who told me it was wear and tear initially. I made it quite clear i wasnt accepting that and there wasnt even any way that internal adhesive failing would be wear and tear, never mind battery expansion. They agreed to replace it with a refurb as a goodwill gesture, how very nice of them. I upgraded the same day to a S23 Ultra and have sold the refurb to a reseller.
