I realized why - it's because this isn't funny at face value.

I like PBF a lot, but honestly, where's the joke here? There's a floss person in the background. Wouldn't this simply be normal in this world?

I think my thought process gets stuck on the fact that the parents both are brushes explicitly for paint, the same purpose but different form.

My brain just wondered how you would get a tooth brush by crossing with a paint brush. Would the 'guy' have to be a dental scraper? My mind honestly went to silly places but apparently I hit a nerve.

Instead everyone gets a subtext of "who did she cheat with?"

I had a level 27 do this to me the other day! While tempting to turn him into molten lead as he should have known better, I just shrugged and went for the more difficult challenge! Working on my growth mindset.

I've had to apologize to someone that I wasn't calling them in a FULL MINUTE LATER because the two guys he was with wouldn't do it and I was clearing stuff across the map.

If it helps, I likely didn't notice you did something stupid, unless that something stupid was calling an orbital down on me while I try to clear nests.

To me that's just basic human maintenance, body & mind. That's fine though, to each their own. Maybe taking care of yourself should be a hobby!

You said your hobbies were working out and reading. Those aren't hobbies that's just being a human being friend. Where's the passion?

No one said anything about pay, forget that.

You added cycling. Are you a part of any local group for it? Long distance or mountain biking?

Edit: To the downvoters, the goal is for him to get out and meet other people that have the same hobby. If you want to make friends as an adult, this is practically the only way. If he doesn't want anything new than maybe a book club?

Find a local group for an interest you've wanted to try but never done. Go meet new people and learn new things!
