saw one of these naggers
Phew, I was afraid for a moment
Sanremo is a joke town, the only thing keeping it alive is the yearly Italian music festival (the one that inspired the Eurovision Song Contest). Also, don't go there in February because that's when the festival is taking place.
The worst thing of Copenhagen is that you can see Sweden from there
They should just make short renting of apartments illegal.
That's the same in San Marino. It's nice but come on, it's full of duty free shops and shops that sell arms that are illegal in Italy
TorrentLeech, DigitalCore Club... they both sometimes open registrations
Torrent forum? That's interesting. I've only used private torrent trackers like TL. Any recommendations?
TorrentGalaxy is up, but if you can't open it maybe your country has DNS censorship.
Just change your DNS servers to something like 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 (Cloudflare DNS and Google DNS respectively).
You can change your DNS from either your computer settings or your router (the latter is recommended because it applies to all connected devices).
So maybe we shouldn't worry after all? Future generations will make fun of us because we can use Windows XP fine but we don't understand how TikTok works?
thinks deleting installers will delete the installed program
Now I get why Windows XP had an alert that said you weren't going to uninstall the program when you tried deleting a link to a program
I think there's a misconception.
Plex can "hide" (not really) your own server because you can direct your users on Plex.tv (they can login there, etc. without ever typing your IP address).
But Plex can also use an internal reverse proxy that lets you see your content from outside even without port forwarding. However, quality and speed will be decreased.
I think Jellyfin should work to ease the process of setting up your server as much as they can, but unless they start managing a SaaS like Plex does, they'll never be able to offer the same simplicity for the end user.
Wasn't Jellyfin developed using the Emby source code as a starting point?
You can always start creating your own personal media server, using apps such as Plex or Jellyfin, and qBittorrent, SABnzbd, etc.
Discord is awful for everything that's not live audio chatting. And even in that case, I think Telegram groups work better.
Yes, we just have to collectively make Lemmy grow until it's a true and complete replacement for classical monolith websites such as Reddit and Facebook groups.
The problem with Facebook is that it's un-searchable from any search engine. Also, Meta.
From your stats, it's clear that the first fall was caused by Facebook and smartphones.
Hmm, in my experience Microsoft 365 on Firefox (Linux) works horrendously.
I'm a Firefox user, but when I need to work on OneDrive or Outlook Web I open Chrome because it works way better. And that's a shame.
Good luck troubleshooting problems when an update of Windows breaks something.
Just switch to Linux and call it a day.
Bug fixes and other improvements We've created an updated version of Beeper Mini that fixes an issue that caused messages not to be sent or received. You can get the update directly from beeper.com/update on your phone. We are still doing some final testing before submitting the update to the Google...

> We've created an updated version of Beeper Mini that fixes an issue that caused messages not to be sent or received. > We even added in a few new feature improvements: chats now open at the last unread message, and we polished the video player a bit!
A group of simple, open source apps without ads and unnecessary permissions, with customizable colors. A fork of @SimpleMobileTools. - Fossify

We all saw in the news that Simple Mobile Tools got acquired by ZipoApps and they started filling up the free apps with ads.
Luckily, being those apps open source, a new fork has been created.
It's called Fossify. They forked all the apps on GitHub and they have a new maintainer.
Now we just need to wait for their first official release and then... we need to spread the word and make people switch from the old SMT apps to Fossify!
