  • The Good Place S4E9 "The Answer" (2019)

  • Aww, I was hoping something would happen when I clicked on the switch or something.

  • I had never heard of The Captains' Summit

Star Trek: The Captains' Summit is a Paramount Pictures Star Trek documentary which was released on Blu-ray video on 12 May 2009 and later on DVD. It was produced for inclusion in the Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection Blu-ray and DVD sets as a separate bonus disc.

Whoopi Goldberg hosted William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Leonard Nimoy, and Jonathan Frakes in a seventy-minute round-table discussion centered around performing the role of a Starfleet captain.

The actors recounted many anecdotes regarding the production of their respective Star Trek projects and the aftermath following their tenure as captain.

  • having an option to auto collapse/hide them, but still access them if needed would make things easier for many folk

This logic could also be useful if applied to comments from filtered users. As OP mentions:

blocking someone will hide their comments AND any replies to those comments

I can definitely imagine the following chain of events occurring:

    1. Reading through comments under a post
    2. Glossing over a collapsed comment from a filtered user
    3. Feeling lost reading the replies to that filtered comment
    4. Wanting to briefly un-filter that comment just to get the appropriate context
  • No need for fucking censorship here, in tenforward!:-D

Unless you want to say [removed], which users here find offensive

  • Star Trek: Prodigy was cancelled after just two seasons

Is that series officially dead, though?

  • A poke is dangerous! It needs to be a diagonal slice of at least 1 cm.

  • I got a picture of your old nose; it was a lateral move!

  • Literally just use the same one that's on your pc? Just KDEconnect that file over

If someone is just using a solid color as as a PC wallpaper, there is likely not a "file" to transfer. When using a solid color in the wallpaper settings, desktop environments provide a color picker instead of a file picker.

  • Saying hwhat hwerid?

  • Is that specific to RIFF/WEBM or something? Because from my limited experience with subtitles, "the creator" absolutely does have control over that. Though it can always be overridden by the client, of course.

  • Not sure what that has to do with "multiple audio and subtitle tracks". Would supporting that somehow lead to "autoplay music" any more than from the features that browsers already support?

  • The nacelle isn't even attached! Who would ever design such a Starfleet vessel?!

  • I just want a material that allows for maximum mobility and feels like I'm wearing nothing at all

  • Try right click > open in new tab or something

  • Wow, I thought this comic was much older than that NPM debacle. But according to Explain XKCD, the comic was published in 2020. Not sure why XKCD itself does not seem to display the date.
