Quit then. Corrupt piece of shit.
Really seems like this is just a blatant attempt to coerce Republican legislators though. "Give us more money or that precious right wing majority you grifted so hard to get installed might be at risk".
Edit: typo
I literally never said they didn't so please don't put words in my mouth. Those measures are working, and legislative overreach into people's personal lives isn't the answer.
Except those measures already cut the smoking rate in half (or better depending on the demographic), and it continues to fall so it clearly is working. Legislative overreach to control people's personal choices is what doesn't work.
Smoking is awful, disgusting, and through the diseases it causes puts a massive burden on the healthcare system... buuuut, educational campaigns to encourage people to stop and limiting it in media/banning advertisements is definitely the way to go over yet another prohibition law.
TFW your domestic policy makes Thanos look like the reasonable one.
$168,600
That's the cap. It is clearly and obviously only benefiting the rich. Absolutely insane.
Yeah this needs to be made illegal before it's too late.
If the game is set in the "real world", an advertisement for a fake brand of a real product is, to me at least, more immersion breaking than it being a real brand for that product. Now if the game isn't set in our world it's a completely different story.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
They can be a source of egregious right wing propaganda undermining our democracy at every turn (which they are), and also occasionally still have legitimate grievances with our legislators sneaking bullshit like this into otherwise critical legislation.
If only Valve could learn to count to three they'd be the perfect game studio.
