Defense has not been playing lights out. They get a lot of turnovers, but in terms of yards and points surrendered they’re not very good.
The new scheme puts Brook in a spot that is a bad fit for him. He was a DPOY contender because he thrives in drop coverage. Griffin is moving away from that, it seems, so it will be very interesting to see where they end up.

They do not at this time intend to drop the phone number requirement, as they see it as an anti-spam measure. Meredith Whittaker has said as much. Phone number privacy is a project independent of requiring phone number at signup, and it just prevents other users from seeing your number.
Usernames have not been released yet. When they are released, phone number will still be required for registration, but you will be able to hide it from other people on Signal.
I’ve heard other scenarios of funky behavior with new devices. The new iPhone might see the charger as a device to be charged, not one that will charge the new iPhone.
