CD Projekt Spent Roughly $125 Million Turning Cyberpunk 2077 Around Post-Launch
  • Pre release I was so hyped for cyberpunk, was patient and waited for reviews, so voted with my wallet and didn't buy it, and just forgot it even existed

Watched Edgerunners animated series off the cuff and it had no business being as good as it was (same as Arcane - gj netflix)

The next time it went on sale I snapped it up and havent regretted it one bit. One playthrough on my old hardware, obligitory playthrough to test after I got an Rtx, and another now 2.0 is out - definitely got my moneys worth

  • What are you Reading? (August 2023)
  • Gave these a go after getting a bit bored of the series and wow, I wish I read them before spoiling the story beats for myself by watching it

Still, once you get past where amazon are leaving the series it gets even better - screw Cas Anvar

Finished the last book and immidately read Memories Legion, which I heartily recommend too, fills in some interesting gaps and interactions that were only lightly touched on throughout the series

  • What are you Reading? (August 2023)
  • Picked up 2 different series by Will Wight cause they were free on amazon for a while, and very impressed

Halfway through Cradle, on book 6 and it's actually really good; a naruto-eque world with well thought out power progression, great world building and characters, with plenty of peril and few dull moments

  • What is something really stupid you purchased that turned out far better than expected?
  • Had the same reaction to buying a cheap trackpad/keyboard all in one - ended up buying a few more so I could have one in each room... Good for main pc, laptops, phones and tablets, Flawless signal, insane battery, such good tech

I found having a big glass of water next to my alarm, which I can chug as soon as I wake up does wonders for getting out of bed and fighting off the AM blues - hope you're good
