False dicotomy. People talk shit about landlords because of how they're treated by them. Landlords talk shit about tenants because they're pieces of shit which is the same reason they treat tenants like shit.
Because people need housing to live in, so it's in the interest of the vast majority of people to make sure the few that own property can't increase rent by 100s of % for no good reason. Additionally we live in a democracy so usually the interests of the majority are supposed to guide policy making even if it upsets the minority that control access to resources because they won't profit quite as much as otherwise.
Oh right, yeah I only really knew about it from videos of people being ticketed for speeding or whatever and them shouting about being a so sovereign citizen. It makes total sense that these people would be very easy to scam though
The metaphor was the only content you fucking moron, and it wasn't even a good one. And that's not even to mention whatever you were saying about the brain being like soil or whatever lmfao. Just admit the few sentence throwaway comment you made was stupid and move on, Jesus Christ.
Lol this is such a stupid problem for your country to have. In the late 90s after having a school shooting here laws were introduced and people had to trade in their guns and were reimbursed. Since then we have had 3 mass shootings, all of which only had a few deaths each, with a murder rate of 9 per million per year. (About 5 times less than the USA based on a quick search.)
I have a friend from Texas and I found it quite funny that he seemed to feel bad for me that everyone here isn't armed. He's a good guy but he seems legitimately unaware that the laws on guns are never discussed because everybody of all political persuasions is happy with them, and see the situation in the US as an extremely easily remedied sick joke.
Well yeah, but also I think it's just that the same people who own these businesses that people work for, and the friends and family of those people, also own lots of property much of which is office space which they don't want to lose money. That and all of the businesses (e.g. Starbucks) and the property they're in that partially make money from people on their way to work. And if you want to go even deeper, if people are WFM then they may not have to eat out as often, might not need to pay for a lot of things as often if they have more time.
So much money can be lost and rich people all know each other and have class consciousness, I think that's why we're seeing so much anti-WFM propaganda
Obviously I understand that training a neural network is necessary, but AI has been used in some capacity to translate previously indecipherable languages.
I know this was a few days ago but this argument from a leftist pro-gun point of view is so stupid to me. If you're concerned about fascists, why do you support arming them lol?? It's just the easily rebuked good guy with a gun bad guy with a gun argument repackaged to appeal to left wing people. Muricans going Murican
I don't really care in this case, I mean if you chose to risk other people's lives by drunk driving then who cares if it's difficult to afford. I honestly think drunk driving is way too tolerated. Also it could also be tied to income, so you pay more if you have a higher income.
The only issue I can see with this, is if you have killed someone while drunk driving isn't there going to be a good chance the kid will already have reached adulthood by the time the drunk driver is released? That and this does just seem like a way for the state to avoid financially supporting those families. So for those two reasons the law is flawed I would say
Wow that is crazy that it runs Linux and is less than $3, that guy would put the executives from the scene in American Psycho to shame with that business card.
What I had in mind was a program with a GUI that had text, some images and you can click through the pages and maybe do something else. I suppose you could pull off something similar to what you linked with a compact arduino-type device, some kind of flat 5v battery and maybe an e-paper display that you can print scrolling text to and maybe a little graphic. I suppose not very similar to what you linked, but would be cool in its own right
Thank God the brave officer decided to stand in front of the car and shoot her to death, otherwise she may have escaped with the $30 of alcohol. Also she might have drank the alcohol, so it doesn't really matter that her and her child are dead.
I always prefer wired in most circumstamces; wired earphones, Xbox controllers, printers, etc. I just want something to be the exact same every time I use it so my life is similar. I don't want to worry about swapping out batteries, or recharging and then then the battery eventually dying. It's just one extra thing that you have to worry about.
Not to say the newer specs of Bluetooth aren't great because it has come a long way. And I do have an 1st MX Masters mouse that I love. Idk I just generally prefer consistency and reliability over the ergonomic and mobility advantages. Everyone is different I guess
It makes complete sense given the other behaviour landlords exhibit, and how they make money.
