Ukrainian HUR Special Forces Deliver Devastating Strike on Russian Base in Syria
  • I predict Syria also having an issue with the Israelis going after Hezbollah.

  • B-1 bomber crashes at South Dakota Air Force base, crew ejects safely
  • Went from number 1 to number 2 in an instant.

  • When will Mickey Mouse enter the public domain?
  • The public must gain it's share of the revenue for allowing a private company to use public domain IP exclusively.

Hold a yearly auction to see who is granted rights to the property which is now the public's.

  • What's the deal with the popcorn button?
  • I purchased that Sharp microwave in the 90s, don't know, lost track of it, moved across country into a house with a built-in microwave that is also a Sharp.

Ever since I saw his videos I feel like I somehow won the microwave feature lottery.

It's a good unit, weird they aren't all as good or better.

  • IBM pulls X ads as Elon Musk endorses white pride
  • At some point race should fade away as some other trait like eye color or attached/detached ear lobes.

Having said that: if everyone who has attached lobes is being blamed for the world problems then I think you may get push back.

  • Jan. 6 “QAnon Shaman” is running for Congress
  • As an Arizona voter I'm not voting for him but there are worse people running in politics. This guy is Qanon crazy but not morally bankrupt like some others. Watch the Channel 5 with Andrew Callihan video. I guarantee the image you have in your head is different than who this guy is in reality.

  • Russian Troop Losses Are Likely Near an All-Time High
  • Ukraine is stating almost 300k dead. There's some factor who are casualties above that that are wounded.

In the article the Russian priests are saying 1 million lost to death/wounded.

Ive seen some analyst say that dead/wounded are 1:3 in this conflict which would check the 1 million figure.

  • Japan's automakers unveil EVs galore at Tokyo show to catch up with Tesla, other electric rivals
  • Toyota and others have been promising solid state battery tech. It's time for them to deliver yet these plants won't be ready until 2030. (If they can make it work at all.)

I wish them luck. But they are coming from the rear and have a long way to go.

  • Do you celebrate Halloween? If so, what are you planning for it?
  • Gotta find time for a rewatch of Tucker and Dale vs Evil

  • What kind of photos was that again?
  • This poster can be seen in the Michael Jackson Thriller video, directed by John Landis, the creator of this movie.

I always thought it was a joke about how poorly made horror films were made, pure schlock, but came to find out there's a full movie behind that joke.

  • Suzanne Somers, of ‘Three’s Company,’ dies at 76
  • Rest in peace Suzanne.

Her character and the thighmaster commercial often positioned her as a punchline, but I will always appreciated her spirit which had a Dolly Parton like quality - there was only love for her.

Having said that, October 16 is her Birthday (today) which she would have been 77. Mathematically living exactly 77 years on earth. (Assuming she had lived past her birth time of day yesterday.)

  • Ukraine Just Blew Up Russia's Main Missile Base In Occupied Crimea
  • The messaging coming from Budenov, the Ukrainian head of intelligence:

“We have the ability to hit any part of the temporarily occupied Crimea as of now. Absolutely at any point we can get the enemy. Those who have done stupid things, it’s better for them to leave,”

“And those who are waiting must prepare and do everything to help, first of all, the intelligence agencies, and then further, when the troops go into the open.”

Psyops for sure, but part of me wants it to happen. Now with this battery gone it definitely sets the stage.

  • The Wrath of Khan doesn't seem like a "best Star Trek film" to me -- why do so many people think that it is?
  • Good take - I think you nailed it.

    I would add this:

    Ricardo f'in Montalban

    The dude nailed it.

His chest should have been in the credits for supporting actor.

  • S5:E5 Local News [Spoilers]

These writers are on fire 🔥. After S5:E4 it gets even better. Loved the ending. Thoughts?

Thank you. I can use this app again.

    Developer be praised!

When you zoom into an image and move it to an image boundary Connect no longer exits zoom mode.

    That was extremely frustrating.

    Volume Up/Down activates Page up/Down.

So I found this one up by accident while watching a video. The volume control was inoperative. I exited the video and found that volume up and down now controlled page up and down. Exiting the application. The volume control returns.

    Maybe this is a feature??

    I'm on a Pixel 7A.
