You could put at least some effort into - you know - looking it up?!?
Well, it's what the community wanted. If you buff everything without adjusting the difficulty, it will get easier.
Finally, the Apache attack helicopter-joke makes sense. U.S. conservative commenters can now rest in peace.
How is mainstream media?
Gave you some upvotes to hopefully brighten your mood. It can be rough, have a great day.
Now I am confused. Mind bearing with me for a sec?
I was referring to the chlorine present in NaCl, that should in fact be chloride due to it's anionic nature, should it not? I mean sure it's pedantic, but I'd still like to know where I went wrong with that thought :D .
I think they meant chlorine, as in Cl2 (g). Certainly not edible, thus the joke.
Horrible at chemistry, but I'm 98% sure it is chloride - the chlorine is present as an anion, and as such is called chloride. Even if you refer to it as an individual component, you still observe Cl-, not Cl (or rather Cl2).
Well, they had me there. Fair point.
I always wondered how people could talk or think about burning books and not consider themselves to be a villain. Wth, I probably wouldn't even burn Mein Kampf or Mao's red book and you want to burn novels you've enjoyed because the writer endorses a politician.
A child born into winter will experience summer soon enough unless something bad happens. I'm certainly not an expert on babies and their development, but I'd think it matters little. A more interesting topic might be the pregnancy - fetal development sets the course for the next few years or even decades, I'm thinking about epigenetic imprinting. That would certainly have an influence, but since we do not have mating seasons (well, spring and december maybe) I'd wager the impact is comparably low.
It's going to be very hard having the same opinion for all of these (somewhat abstract) instances - considering how wildly incompatible some of these are.
EDIT: Also, wrong (but arguably original) use of template.
Well, alright thanks for clearing that up. I understand the meme now, although I still struggle with the ... unusual use of terminology. But yes, it very much makes sense to show teosinte then!
EDIT: OP cleared up the confusion, thanks for that I ... what? This is such a gigantic leap, going from Teosinte to modern day mazie and calling it a GMO, what is it even suppoed to mean? We shouldn't use domesticated plant? I am seriously scared by the lack of what I consider to be general knowledge of breeding in the general population, have people stopped going to school in the last 5 years?
Möge die nächste Böe dir freundlichere Gefilde schicken.
Thing is, they already have their explanation: Alpine glacial recession was caused by mountain warfare in WW1, beacuse they blew literal hole in there. That destabilised it.
