What are you reading? What's on your shelf?

Hey everyone,

Let's chat! What are you reading lately, and what's on your shelf that you'd recommend others take a look at?

Currently I'm working through The Magick of A Dark Song: The Abramelin Ritual in Fiction and Reality by Duncan Barford. It's more long-form essay than book, and examines the film "A Dark Song" and how it depicts ritual and ceremonial magick.

If you're not familiar with Duncan's other work I would also recommend Occult Experiments in the Home, which is a fantastic read.

Weekly Thread - Free Talk Friday

As there are more people slowly trickling into this community, I thought it would be a good idea to open a weekly discussion thread.

What are you currently learning/reading? What have you done in the past week that you might like to share? Do you have questions/concerns that you don't feel need their own thread?

Personally, I've spent this week organizing my digital library. With around 1TB of material to comb through it's been an absolute beast of a project and there's no end in sight. That said, if anyone is looking for a particular book, reach out!

Looking forward to hearing more about what everyone has been up to!

Halo Infinite lost 98% of its players on Steam since release
  • While I don't doubt player counts are low, this game seems like something that would be played more via Gamepass. I wouldn't take Steam numbers as a sole indicator.

  • Hello and welcome to this community!

First of all, it's a pleasure to welcome everyone into this community, and we look forward to growing with all of you!

This is meant to be a space where people of all kinds can come and discuss, share, and question all things related to occultism and magick. It's our goal to operate this space as light-touch as possible in order to allow the community to decide how things should operate.

There's much more to come, so please subscribe, post, share, and comment.

    Thanks!
