Simple answer is we don't really live. We just kinda suffer day after day until someone breaks then a new policy is out in place to legally cover the corps ass. It's a miserable system and most of us are at a breaking point.

One of my previous jobs had an employee exercise room. Some people used it and management didn't like that so they said we're not allowed to use it during our shift and only after hours. It was a government position so we weren't allowed to be in the building before or after our shift.

Advertisers have been doing stuff like this since forever to get you to look. Some ads will subtly add extra limbs that you won't notice by glancing at it but your brain notices something is off and will make you want to look closer
