i have been using Freetube so I am wondering if this will be worse or better.

edit: it's literally the console version of youtube but just stripped down.

I'd recommend Freetube instead as its much more feature rich and it uses invidious (which is a lightweight alternative to youtube) and has support for sponsorblock and stuff built in.
