  • But that's valid criticism. Rules have to justify their existence

  • L take, oldheads stay mad and unbalanced

  • They just are old enough now to understand that paizo is a proud lgbt+ supporter and blame 2e

  • It happened to me once, and only because a player wanted to do some stupid shit. It was still an okayish character. The others played what sounded cool to them and had no issues. Relative to pf1 it's night and day

  • Sorry, but your hate just doesn't seem to be based in any real reason outside of your emotions

  • But it's really fucked up that they never change anything. Fortunately for the viewer every "villain" kicks a puppy at some point making every social criticism invalid.

  • Sorry, Superheroes: defenders of the status quo

Edit: for more info please read "The utopia of Rules" by David Graeber

  • Either you dislike the bloat of the system or don't. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

  • ??? Have you ever played 2e? That shit is perfectly balanced. Just because fights are designed around having full hp doesn't mean the players always are.

In pf1 you can ruin a character with an uninformed choice, in pf2 you can't. The gap between minmaxxed or not has become reasonable in my opinion.

  • Avengers: defenders of the status quo

  • Pickle down rickonomics

  • The builds are an expression of character development tho.

  • That's why I enjoy Weird Wizard and Demon Lord. They streamline this overlap pretty well and removed the bloat

  • Lmao, I think you confused pf1 and pf2. In pf1 you can build yourself into a corner and create useless characters with ease. In 2e the worst characters are still decent

  • König und Konsorten by Parker games.

No idea what's the English name.

It's a better version of Uno for me. It has a bit more options and variants for players and leans into the funny stuff more than Uno ever did. Fun game for casual players to not play Uno

  • That's a great idea!

I think I'll write down the basics of Tokyo Nova and see what I might add and change. A hand system is pretty high on that list. I am not sure if I'll add a Blackjack mechanic for skill checks against others, what do you think?

  • My basic idea is that every player plays poker with themselves in a passive way, ie every time they draw a card, they add it to their open ones and when they have 5 open cards, they get an advantage depending on their best combination, like in poker

  • This sounds interesting. I currently plan on doing exactly that. But everyone gets to use their own deck.

How did you test the balancing?

Do you know the western rpg that uses a similar systems? Wild cards: sons of the gun?
