We never referred to them as bell bottoms but by their brand name; Jncos. And they were rather popular for a subsect of teenage/young adult culture in the late 90s/early 2000s.
Nothing lasts forever. That's pretty normal. I'm experiencing the same.
Something worth considering; how you treated your body in your 20s potentially had an impact on how bad your body functions now. We all break down in time, but how bad those breaks are influenced by the decisions we made over time.
Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
It really is clutch. I've taken to propping a pillow on my lap and using the kick stand to support it upright while playing. It's really handy.
I suspect the comment where you were banned was the proverbial "straw that broke the camels back." I took a look at the rest of the thread where there could be the impression of you attacking people. It's not as extreme as the specific comment they chose but it's there. Perhaps the mods banned you for 3 days for a combination of your posts in that thread. That would make sense instead of commenting on each individually (which would be time consuming).
Have you tried to message the mods directly for clarity before posting here?
I ended up buying the Killswitch case from Dbrand. It's sturdy, the lip of the case rises up to cover the screen edges and it has a hard face cover while traveling. I normally leave it with its kickstand on various locations to charge for when I need it. It was an added weight but I don't notice it anymore, and I enjoy the textured feel of the case.
I don't know if this is my imagination, but things are now loading way faster on the Lemmy Sync app since you completed the upgrade. Originally I had to really 20 seconds when opening the app for content to load and now it's instant. Thank you very much!
There's no year listed. Just a month and a day.
I was always a fan of: ᒣᒥப߹/ΔП
He was naked in the beginning when they put his character in cryogenic stasis for all the civilians that Wesley Snipes character killed.
Thank you, I'll look over this one tonight and give it a shot.
I tried using it last night and couldn't configure it to my liking. I'm about to watch the video another user posted to see if that could offer assistance.
On update 3.5 of Steam OS, there was a call out about being able to customize the overlay by editing the ~/.config/MangoHud/preset.conf.
I'm looking for a simple FPS and battery percentage overlay. Ideally FPS in the top left and battery percent in the top right corner but I'd settle for help with them just next to each other.
Could anyone assist me in drafting the text for this?
Edit:
Thank you to shigutso@lemmy.world for posting the video below with the instructions to wait for the 5 minute mark.

Having used both, Sync is better. Liftoff felt light years behind Sync. I will also note as a purely anecdotal, I saw more duplicates on Liftoff than I do now on Sync... I still see a lot of duplicates but not nearly as much as before... Grabbed, I was using Liftoff when the Reddit migration was occurring so that could be the reason I dare more duplication with it.
Starting off the day with a Grizzly pun I see. I generally prefer Black humor, so apologies if my response appears Polar.
I'm jealous. Mine tries to sit on my chest, or face when I play. The other one likes to get fur inside the case.
Whelp, color me embarrassed. Don't mind me as I go to edit my comment.
reading through the comment and nodding along peacefully... Then we get to the pizza comment...
