Starfield’s Xbox exclusivity ‘yielded a better product’, Todd Howard says
  • Considering Microsoft forcing a year QA on them with the full MS QA team... yea I imagine the partnership and exclusivity did indeed yield a much less buggy and thus better product.

The whole point of this set of twitter pic conversations was the negotiation to not have to buy the whole lorry worth.

  • Union smarts
  • Its not. The illegal part is the interviewer asking your views on unions.

  • Sometimes they don't even wait that long
  • What about a blended tankie?

  • Shadow of the Colossus - has it aged poorly? [spoilers]
  • The stumbling in the dark aspect was intentional and added to the charm of the game. Modern games these days and even most of them back then were very heavy on the hand holding and this one just slaps your hand away when you reach out.

I can see how that is not for everyone though.

    SP only sadly.

  • I'm still blown away by GTA IV's openness
  • If you caught a car on fire an ambulance and fire truck would show up. They would load the victim into the ambulance and the fire truck would put the fire out. Then the ambulance drive to a hospital and the fire truck would return to the fire station. It was just one small thing. In 5 an ambulance would spawn drive to the victim and run up to them and resurrect them. The fire truck would spawn and put the fire out then drive away and despawn.

The car physics were more realistic. It had vertices deformation. You could also mod the car damage and car physics. People reacted to where they got shot. It used the old euphoria physics engine for ragdolls. So you could have NPCs grab onto your car as you hit them (ie hold onto your hood or door handle). Water physics were a lot better. NPCs reactions to things around them were much better and more varied. Police would stop crime without shooting. IE they'd arrest people or give tickets etc. You could climb things (not just ledges but like scale up a building via the pipes and hvac). The phone and computer were a lot more interactive. You could call up any number you find even if it was written on a bathroom door.

GTA5 was a drastic step backwards in it's implementation. after GTA4.

  • ‘Rick and Morty’ Team Gives Update on Recasting Process Following Justin Roiland’s Dismissal
  • They should have had Rick sneak into Mortys room and scream his name to get up. Can pull audio from other episodes from past. Morty wakes up screaming and punches Rick in the throat. Rick starts choking and Mortify asks if he is alright, using old audio again, than Rick punches him in the throat as retaliation. Then they both continue to choke for a few minutes. Then in new voices the agree to never talk about this again. Que new intro.

  • Cool it's back up again and my post from lemm.ee is here.

I didnt expect a message posted to a local instance on another server with the main server being down would make it back to the target server when it comes back up. I guess it's just showing that this system does work as intended.

  • Texas worker accused of being on drugs was actually dying of heatstroke
  • and then times it by 10. If it bankrupts the company so be it.

I work in construction. We have a re-roof job running right now. They go through almost a pallet of water every day and are required to have x amount of rest in shade. When it got to hot the hours were moved to night till mid day to protect them from the heat.

If they suspected him of being on drugs they should have pulled him from the job site immediately once symptoms were showing. Anything less is a danger to the employee as well as everyone else on the site.

What this company did was illegal, morally wrong and down right evil.
