That's a bad comparison because it's generally easier to scale up production lines than it is to increase university capacity.

The most expensive part of product development is the R&D, because that's where all the university grads go. Manufacturing, on the other hand, can often be automized, and generally only requires basic education. University educators, on the other hand, usually require at least a PhD, and class sizes are limited not only by the number of teaching staff, but also available classrooms, dorm rooms, and, depending on the subject, lab space, all of which is very expensive.

I wasn't even familiar with Detroit style pizza, but after looking it up, I think "thick crust" would be a better description.

It does look very tasty though.

That’s not a thing. Chicago is known for deep dish pizza, which is so thick it’s basically a pie.

That said, deep-fried pizza DOES exist, and much to my surprise, it was apparently invented in Italy.

Yes but this is Ragú, which is a US brand of Italian grocery products primarily known for making pasta sauce (in fact I didn’t even know they also made pizza).

They do. Eastern Montana is quite dry, and so are Southern Alberta and Saskatchewan, mainly due to the massive rain shadow of the Rocky Mountains.

Why would you want a LOT of money when all you really need is enough to not have to worry about putting food on the table or how to pay your bills this month?

IMHO it's much more important to find some sort of occupation that not only makes money, but that you actually enjoy doing long term, otherwise you're just going to get burnt out. And I can tell you from my own experience that no amount of money is worth that.

Also, it doesn't matter WHAT you do, there's always going to be someone criticizing or hating on you, no matter how good you are. In fact, the better you are, the more hate you'll get. But that doesn't make it immoral.
