It's a good KDE distro (my preferred DE) and I've become familiar with tools like zypper and YaST that I'd be sad to lose.
Oh for sure. I just like OpenSUSE enough to switch GPUs for. I only really run older games aside from Baldur's Gate III and Cyberpunk, so I really don't need the latest and greatest.
I forgot how terrible Windows actually is
Windows, while always shitty, has seriously gone downhill in the past 5 years. I'm looking to switch back to Linux myself, but I have an NVidia GPU that needs constant driver babying on OpenSUSE (my preferred distro). My current plan is to find someone who is willing to swap a RTX 4070 for a equivalent or slightly worse AMD card, and then switch back to OpenSUSE.

You should absolutely be treating the US government as a hostile entity. Many Americans are also treating it as such, and are organizing emergency preparations (mainly go-bags) for things like martial law, civil war, and being targeted as a result of belonging to a prohibited minority group. You should take the US government's threats seriously. We are.
Transgender Americans and other minority groups are feeling it for sure. It's just not the white suburban traditional family Americans who have felt the pinch yet (aside from the price of eggs).
I hope with time we can prove to you that there's Americans here fighting against this. I know it doesn't look great now, and don't blame you for hating us and our country. As an American, I also hate us and our country.

Yes, tragically. Don't buy a Samsung Odyssey monitor like I did. It takes 7 button presses to change the input and there's a Disney+, Netflix, and Prime Video dedicated buttons on the remote.
