One correction, you can use Airdrop on a Mac without an AppleID. I currently have a Mac for work where I’m not allowed to use an AppleID, but can still use Airdrop. Also Airdrop uses both Bluetooth and a direct WIFI connection.
I like to add Ahoy. He uploads maybe twice a year, but eeveeytime it’s golden. He mainly focuses on videogame history.
Another is the Extra History channel short history videos with nice animations. They are a spinoff of Extra Credits that focuses on the gaming industry.
I’d also like to add Fearless & Far it’s more travelvlog like, but the guy visits all kinds of remote places and people, which makes it really interesting to watch.
I mainly use WhatsApp. I have tried moving on from it, but it is too pervasive in my circles. If I stop using it I will miss too much, so for now I'll stick to it.
It would be amazing if this technology is able to scale and go down in cost. There are so many possible implementations, it would be a really great way of creating a more sustainable future.
This is dependent on where you live though. In the Netherlands most utilities are buried under ground and enter buildings subterranean.
