Experiencing this now. They fired my manager/boss, who was the only engineer that had the license to sign off on a bunch of shit related to a bunch of our projects. Now i’m left picking up the pieces and working remotely with some guy hundreds of miles away that doesnt have direct access to our file systems. So fun!
I’ll have to try that hot water trick! I do use powder detergent, and someone else told me recently that I guess you’re supposed to fill not only the closable compartment thing with it, but also the little open depression/pit if you want to clean stuff better. Is that true?
I usually fill it up before running it. With just two of us, it can take a few days to fill it up. It would be silly to run it with like 2 plates, 2 forks and a cup or two.
It doesnt really save anytime in my experience. You can’t just throw stuff in there covered in food or it will just dry up and cement itself to the dishes/silverware in the day or two until it’s next time to run a cycle. I guess if you have a family and are running it every night, it might let you skip the initial rinse off but idk.
Had an english teacher in college use the F word to great effect. He didnt drop it until several lectures in, and made sure to point out how effective it can be if it’s not overused.
Make it so you need to have proven you can properly take care of one/need a license to own one. But also, neuter/spay all existing ones so no more can be born. They’ve suffered enough from human stupidity, and there are plenty of other dogs out there to choose from that need love.
I don’t know why Nintendo keeps producing this cringey style of trailer in recent years, but they really need to try something else. This comes off as some kid’s dad watching them play the game and pretending to commentate as a character from the game to hype it up. It just falls flat.
I’ve seen these dummies absolutely fill a dryer, and then have to pay to run it a second time because everything’s still damp. So they’re spending the same amount, but wasting more time (assuming you have access to two or more machines, which usually you do if you’re paying for it).
We hang dry most of my wife’s stuff because it’s more delicate, hand made garments and such, but even that takes up two of those foldable hanging rack things. If we did all mine too we’d have no room to walk in our apartment. Just another way it costs more to be poor.
The aztecs knew how to manage it properly. It was the dumbass Spaniards that fucked everything up and drained all the water away.
