    Refined sucrose is not an essential nutrient, carbohydrates may be though even that is disputed these days the body refines glucose from any number of complex carbohydrates and even non-carb sources. In a natural environment sucrose would be consumed seasonally at a relatively low percentage of total calories when fruits were available, for much of the year sucrose would make up a very low percentage of calories consumed.

  • @MargotRobbie

    Even superstars are too cheap to pay for Premium, eh?

  • @hedge because they aren't using the political compass. Two or three political dimensions with only two words describing them leads to meaningless labeling.

  • @Roflmasterbigpimp Every account on the Fediverse is hosted by an instance on a server, the admin of each instance can choose to defederate from any other instance if they don't want content or users from that instance to be intractable with their users or visa versa. This is often done due to differences in "terms of service", for things like hate speech, CP, or just political differences. Some instances will have zero NSFW policies, some will have defederated communities/magazines for content private to that instance (lemmynsfw does thus for example).

  • @vermingot Yes, in fact many residential heat pumps can do both.

  • @Telorand I started with Boost as it is what I used for Reddit, but after trying Jerboa and not having any adds and all the same fu ctionality I can't go back.

    @MakerThe11

  • @TwoGems my business partner just turned me on to www.researchrooster.ai he says it is very helpful for uncovering webs of papers that cite each other and tracking new publication

  • @valveman "From the States" would be a common way to say it while traveling.

  • @icepuncher69 I haven't watched it yet, I have just started rewatching the original series for spooky season. Let's be real though, even though he is a grade A creep, Warren Ellis is one of the best writers of our generation for comics and animation, and he exercised a lot of control as prroducer and writer of Castlevania. It will be very difficult for another writer to step into his shoes and not disappoint in some way.

  • @delitomatoes As I understand it there is was a legal process in Israel for settlements on "unused land" to become recognized by the Israeli government and eventually become part of Israeli state recognized territory, which is how the original Israeli territory was gradually expanded from the time of the handovery by the British. There are/were rules that these settlements are not supposed to displace existing Palistinian residences or farms, but if course these rules/laws are often ignored by ultraconservative Israeli settlers who view displacement of all non-Jews from Israel as their holy mission, leading to direct conflict and displacement with existing Plestinian occupants. It is this fact, and the fact that the Israeli state agreed to prevent futher settlement in the 1994 peace accords but subsequently has supported them, that has led much of the international community to condemn all Israeli settlements established after that date as illegal.

  • @vidarh I see this as sound proof that if the IRS has a bigger budget in the near term it will more than pay for itself in the mid term. Defunding the IRS is pure fiscal irresponsibility on the part of conservatives, who are supposed to be all about balancing the budget.

  • @ValueSubtracted bummer, let's hope the USSC doesn't see this as an invitation to further eviscerate environmental protections down here.
