  • Exactly. I would think it's relevant to mention the fact that Walz has 20 more years of military experience in the first or second paragraph.

Just present the (obviously false) claim and add "the Times asked the Trump/Vance campaign about the 20 year difference in military experience. We have yet to hear back from them at the time of publication.

  • But that doesn't matter. He needs the debate more than she does. There's never going to be a debate on Fox News because they aren't unbiased.

Democrats have most likely learned their lesson. Unless you're a rhetorical genius like John Stewart or Bernie Sanders, Fox News is a death trap.

  • The "fairness doctrine" didn't prevent news from being crazy entertainment. Watch the 1975 movie "Network". Faye Dunaway runs part of a TV network that tries (among other things) to present videos from a terrorist organization as a weekly program. It was ridiculous, but plausible at the time.

  • They didn't. They got a super majority and passed the most comprehensive healthcare bill in history. And pulled the economy out of the biggest recession since the Great Depression. And approved Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor who created a 5/4 Democratic slant to the Supreme Court, allowing gay marriage to be legalized.

And then in 2011 Osama Bin Laden was killed in his home in front of his grandchildren. All that sounds successful to me.

  • That's because the Clintons aren't a "dynasty" either. They're just husband and wife. It's certainly unique for a husband and wife to both be successful in politics, but a dynasty implies multiple generations.

The "Clinton Dynasty" is just a right-wing talking point, and has been since the '90s.

  • You are using one of the workarounds for the Pixel. It will not cast directly to a TV unless the TV has a built in Chromecast. Or you can use a janky third party app.

With my TV, iPhone works perfectly, laptops work, desktops with Bluetooth work, but a Pixel intentionally has casting disabled. It is stupid to disable this, and borderline fraud.

    https://deviceverge.com/how-to-cast-google-pixel-to-tv/#1_Can_I_cast_my_Google_Pixel_to_any_TV

    1. Can I cast my Google Pixel to any TV?

Yes, you can cast your Google Pixel to any TV that is equipped with a built-in Chromecast or has a Chromecast device connected to it. To cast, make sure your Pixel and the TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Then, simply open the content you want to cast on your Pixel, tap the cast icon, and select your TV from the list of available devices.

If your TV doesn’t have built-in Chromecast or a separate Chromecast device, you may still be able to use a streaming device like a Google Chromecast or a Roku Streaming Stick. These devices can be plugged into your TV’s HDMI port, allowing you to cast content from your Google Pixel.

    1. How do I cast my Google Pixel to a TV without Chromecast?

If you want to cast your Google Pixel to a TV that doesn’t have built-in Chromecast or a separate Chromecast device, you can use a third-party casting app or device. These apps and devices work similarly to a Chromecast, allowing you to mirror your Pixel’s screen or cast specific apps to your TV.

One popular option is using a streaming device like a Roku Streaming Stick or an Amazon Fire TV Stick. These devices often have screen mirroring capabilities, which can be used to cast your Pixel’s screen to the TV. Additionally, there are third-party casting apps available on the Google Play Store that can help you cast your Pixel to a TV without Chromecast.

  • You are correct about all of that, but don't get caught in a word trap. A constitutional republic is a type of democracy. It is a representative democracy, instead of a direct democracy.

No countries are direct democracies but they are still democracies. It just means "the people choose their leaders".

  • You need to fit all the requirements, regardless of the current composition of your company. Are you saying that you will never hire women? If a woman interviewed there, she would be put off by the lack of accomodations.

2 rooms is a bit much for 10 people, but one is totally understandable if you ever intend to hire women.

  • Ehh, maybe. Many people are trying as hard as they can, sometimes with undiagnosed mental issues. "Act like an adult" is only good advice if you are just lazy.

Maybe "move to a cheaper area so you can afford a house" is better advice.

  • This is for domestic consumption. Like the "drone attack" they launched that was telegraphed ahead of time. They are just trying to look tough to Iranian voters

With the sanctions, the Ayatollahs need to distract the average Iranian from everyday issues. I predict another "attack" on Israel that barely damages anything.

Neither country wants an expensive war. That's why Israel was very precise when it killed Hamas's leader. The message is, "We dislike this particular group. If you support them less, we will not attack you."

You are thinking of walking to work? You're going to be commuting like everyone else. That's why everyone in LA is stuck in traffic. Or just work from home.
