Well, this "pirate" option also fixed issues that plagued the Linux desktop client for years. Discord only got screen share working about a month ago, that feature has been around since 2017 (I think). Meanwhile the "pirate" option had fixed that (even on wayland) while people were waiting for the basic features to function.
Your a dweeb lmao
Your right, it should have been belatro
Was gonna suggest a look at sterling PDF as well, great toolkit.
I kinda rolled my eyes when they name dropped new Vegas, people were already expecting "new Vegas 2" the first time for some reason. I kept my hopes low and was still kinda disappointed by outer worlds, didn't hate it at all, was just left sitting there after I beat the game, thinking out loud "thats it?". My whining aside, I do think that they'll do better in a sequel.
God this shit is sad, I can't believe anyone involved (besides the few making all the money) are remotely proud to have worked on this. I get that its a trope to not accept new technology/trends but ai always makes me put on a face of disgust without trying.
It does a decent job at all 3 from my experience
I am very partial to valve myself, while they aren't perfect, I am not immune to propaganda, and own 3 valve shirts.
Love the self hosted podcast, they talk about various experiences they've had (be it good, or bad) while trying to stop relying on big tech companies. They also try to bring projects to the spotlight and help people find cool openscource solutions. They get some fun guests in there as well.
I ended up using the nextcloud gpodder sync app, works a treat, there's even a nextcloud app for listening to podcasts in your browser, so I use that for desktop use.
Kde, nothing against gnome, I just need to adjust KDE less to get what I want.
Man literally said "you can't just expect studios to keep games up forever" when the Q and A discusses that. Shit was so infuriating man.
Every awful person I had to deal with in my life had one thing in common, they were league fiends. It's crazy but it's true, even with some of my best friends, they were becoming unbearable when they were at the height of their league faze. Some people in my family, its just league all day, complain about their team, complain about their internet, won't show up for dinner because they started a game 30 minutes ago. When you ask them a question, or try to communicate while they're in game, you just get a look and attitude like you're an asshole or a weirdo. Try to play some casual games with them? You get yelled at. That game can burn for all I care, it lobotomizes people.
Here come all the Pirate Software fans to say "this initiative is bad actually".
Because most people won't/can't pay these stupid prices just for an average/poor experience.
I've even heard that during big league tornaments, like LCS, Worlds, and other major events, the matches use LAN to minimize lag.
I think the guy is smart, and I used to hold his opinion in very high regard. But after he shat his opinion out and just doubled down and refusing to talk with Ross after calling him and his movement "scummy" I lost alot of respect for him. The dude can make 2 whole videos shitting on Ross and the movement but won't talk to him about it? fuck off. Every time I watch a video of his he just sounds so pretentious to me now. And for someone that shines his "20 years of gamedev" purple heart badge every 15 mins, he acts willfully ignorant to the years of people self hosting reverse engineered WOW servers acting like its impossible for the community to keep these games preserved.
They can't do this to peepo, not my boy! 😥
The guy who won't go 5 seconds without flashing his "20 years of service to Blizzard" badge also was dumbfounded at the possibility of people self hosting game servers like World of Warcraft, even though they've been doing it for years. Dude seems like a MASSIVE know it all.
