I suppose that’s a fair point. It comes down to perception I guess. Maybe it’s best described as “some” Americans chose this
How about: "Most Americans who bother voting, chose this. The majority of the rest couldn't be bothered trying to vote knowing full well it would result in a trump presidency anyway"
Accurate enough?
As if Americans didn't hand the White House to Republicans every few years knowing full well they are the party of gerrymandering, vote suppression and racism
You cannot now pretend they are victims of happenstance
Through ignorance, bigotry and mostly apathy, Americans as a whole, chose this
The paste does not go back in the tube....
But a more accurate example for America would replce the kitchen at home with just microwave
America destroyed their manufacturing capacity outsourcing it all and failed to reinvest any of the profit from that move
Factories don't pop up like in the sims games
Nobody sid it would only hurt consumers
It would hurt consumers first which is why the majority of the canadian tariffs are delayed 21 days
Tariffs hurt the country imposing them the most
We used JCaps for hospital interfaces… when the time came to renew licenses, they literally ghosted us until we just moved to a different engine
trying this one, pretty interesting so far any way to get gifs in?
Calls it "Deepsneak", failing to make it clear that the reason people love Deepseek is that you can download and it run it securely on any of your own private devices or servers - unlike most of the competing SOTA AIs.I can't speak for Proton, but the last couple weeks are showing some very clear biases coming out.
That stigma was mostly created by Americans ... They just don't want it for themselves
I would think so but don't really know from a legal standpoint
What's clear now is that a contract with the USA is not worth an "Elon's promise" so any current agreement is basically null and void
You are not wrong in some of theses but they would requiere a legal framework that does not exist today to be created in a hurry.
Tariffs are literally easier so they are the first step and it does not mean they would be the last
Yes, let's give the fascist the benefit of the doubt... It's the least we can do for them
This is a terrible idea.
Cops are completely immune and there is little to no chance the courts would uphold any civil rights violations under Dictator Trump
That's only true if you are to save the person now ailed by a preventable disease.
The GOP couldn't care a little if a few million of the plebes die... They will get the vaccines and healthcare, it's the peasants that will suffer
I don't need to... Muricans took care of destroying democracy all on their own
I didn't really need another reason to love Debian more but here we are... I'm donating to Debian today
but the King overheard and thought "I have to make lentils so much more expensive then..."
as opposed to OpenAI which also stores keystrokes and then sells them to anyone who'd pay?
