  • I've always heard this one used when someone is uncharacteristically grumpy or making odd little rude comments when they usually wouldn't. Someone else would say they "must be feeling some kind of way" to explain that awkwardness.

  • If i can give you one piece of advice? Don't listen to incels. The very notion of being an incel is incredibly toxic and misogynistic. It didn't used to be, the woman who started the (trend? Movement?) definitely did not mean for it to end up as a rallying cry for angry men to use as an excuse to blame everyone (women) for their own issues. Incels have killed people over not getting the attention they want. They should all be on a watch list IMO.

  • Once lived with a lady who (instead of waking me up) broke in to our apartment drunk to get some clothes to go spend the night with someone. And just left the house like that. Left it obviously broken in to, blinds all messed up and stuff. And didn't even tell me. And when i text her at work she denied it up until i said i would call the cops. Turned out she did have her key, she just forgot in her drunken stupor. Also refused to let me put a stick in the window.

    There was a lot more

  • I agree. I wasn't trying to shit on the job itself, but point out how fast food workers are treated. If fast food workers were treated like human beings, i bet people would love to work there.

  • How out of touch are you?

    1. nobody works there because it's their life dream. If they work there it's because of some benefit like having some money vs no money.
    2. who should be working there then? Like, someone has to. Who do you think belongs there?
  • We do. Have you not noticed the prices? In 2000 a bigmac cost $2.24 now they cost $5.99. The real tell, tho, is that mcdonalds had $25 BILLION in profits in 2024. Money they made from consumers buying their products. Somehow it seems like they absolutely have the money to pay a living wage, but im no mathematician.
