What film, show or game that is not necessarily 'underated' didn't have the level of social impact it deserved.
  • Interesting I thought the last episode was the perfect ending. Cause it's so grounded. No cheesy happy end, no sensational bad end, just a very grounded "yea shit happens in live and you gotta keep on living and deal with it", cause that's how live actually is for most people.

  • Tales From the Tables episode 30: So where were we?
  • I'm using connect as well and can zoom in big enough to have a letter fill the entire screen while still being crisp. Granted my phone doesn't have the biggest screen, but still, image quality seems to be fine for me.

  • stop asking for a karma system
  • Oh ok I never realised people cared about that I thought it was only about getting rewards and like high scores on your posts.

How have I been using Reddit for 10+ years without knowing this? XD

  • Shout, Shout, Let it all Rule
  • It's many things coming together.

It's governments not regulating properly, capitalism demanding infinite growth, and consumers mindlessly consuming which creates demand.

There's lots of avenues for change, and we should follow all of them at the same time.

  • People who work in food service or customer service: What’s the dumbest thing a customer ever insisted was “the law” or “illegal”?
  • Where in the EU would that be the case?

AFAIK a legally binding contract only happens once you actually exchange money for a product. That should be true pretty much all over the world as long as there's actual laws/customs regulating this process.

Any prices/offers or whatever else you might see in or around a store are in no way legally binding no matter how believable the prices are.

Otherwise anyone can just run around with a 10/20/50% off sticker and force any store to sell them whatever they want for much cheaper.

  • What's a band that you like that was gone way too soon?
  • Fully expecting no one in this thread to ever have heard of them: Made in heights Love their music. Unfortunately the duo got into a nasty fight about rights and royalties and split up. They're only really available on YouTube anymore.
