I'm not an American so no I'm not part of the problem, you are your own problem, you all cultivated your society in the last 70(?), the right ànd the left in equal measures. So it will cost 50+ billion the tax payer has to cough it up, the build will take twice as long, then the private companies reap the benefits and profits, and if things go wrong the British government (taxpayers) is left with the bills and clean up. It will start producing 5 years later than planned and has to be shut down 10 years earlier than anticipated.

Don't know about any conspiracy theories, but my take is tapwater should be as clean as possible without any additives. Fluoride is in fish, fruits, toothpaste, make sure you eat healthy enough so you don't need your water source to be "contaminated".

But I guess in the US and the food quality its better than nothing.
