  • That depends on what kind of project you're looking at.

    I know a good site that teaches the fundamentals of using Git for version control: https://learngitbranching.js.org/

    But since you're asking about animation, I'm guessing you might want more info geared towards that instead.

    It's been ages since I was really active with Blender. BlenderArtists.org might have some good tutorials.

    For some animation topics you can search for, there's how to set key frames, using the graph editor (I haven't watched that tutorial, so I have no idea if it's any good). And for more advanced animations look up character rigging (foot roll tutorials may show you several techniques involved with more advanced character rigs, but start with the basics first.

  • First used it in 2004 I think. Messed around a bit and did a couple tutorials. Played with the game engine for a few years and put some stuff on gamejolt.com. I do more software development these days but Blender is still my go-to for general modelling and animating when I have a reason for it.

  • I think the purpose was to have the humor be caused by the lack of context. If you look at the older posts by FlyingSquid, a lot of them are funny because the words take on a different meaning than what was originally intended.
