You are correct, although zram uses more cpu power since it compresses things. It's not really an issue if you're not using a potato :=)
Agree, but I think the X230 is slightly better as it runs cooler, has a better iGPU, has USB 3 and you can classic keyboard swap anyways :)
I snagged one in decent condition for £60 recently and plan to mod it up when I can, namely:
- Quad core/i7-3612QE mod
- 16G RAM DDR3L/2133Mhz
- AVC Fan (quieter/cooler)
- X220 Keyboard mod with X220 Palmrest
- 720p IPS Screen (can do 1080p but that requires soldering)
- Libreboot/me_cleaner (already ivyra1ned it).
- A new 9 cell battery from Greencell.
- Intel AC/AX wifi
- A nice 1TB ssd!

Not autistic but I feel your displeasure at the complete lack of actual help. I've had fibromyalgia for nearly a decade now (since 21) and it took 8 years of doctors telling me it was all in my head, anxiety, depression, et cetera to get an actual diagnosis.
I feel so exhausted/in pain/traumatised that I feel like I'll be scraping by on disability for the rest of my life. I feel broken.

Was just having a late night pk session while I'm maxing the 20 def at maniacals/hunter... Ran across a 126 in semi-decent gears and got the counter-ags as he specced me!
(I'm a 101cmb 1 def who just runs around with rcb/ags usually since I'm a punching bag).
