Have you tried Bottles and/or Wine?
I've never had a problem running anything from the Adobe or Microsoft Suite for example, in fact I think they run waaay smoother on linux
But yea I get it, a lot of people associate compatibility with gaming only.
It's not the people casting no-votes who are the problem, it's the two-party state that divides and conquers us all. I mean the majority of the public doesn't support the genocide in gaza, but here we are bickering with each other because we don't get a voice...
Would you recommend this to someone interested?
Honestly, I think Biden supports this unwaveringly because it aligns with US policy to keep the region destabilized.
I mean they helped overthrow the Shah, aided the Taliban in fighting the soviets, invaded Iraq and Kuwait (which led directly to the creation of jihadist state -- ISIS), aided a US-aligned faction in the Syrian civil war, helped put down the 2011 democratic revolutions... there is so much more.
And for what? To keep them from realizing they are all arabs and are sitting on the largest collective reserves of oil in the world...
Evil Empire.
Well... they do hang out in the public torrents of movies, games, shows, etc.
That's how they get IP addresses and have their bots send DMCA notices.
Love that song
I lived in a place that cost 800$ a month for a room in the bay area and I was taking home more than 60% of my income working full time.
It's doable, and it doesn't mean only rich people aren't rent burdened...
Have you checked out Protondb.com ?
It's been a lifesaver gaming wise. Nice to know most games do and can run on linux, it's usually the ones with some sort of online anti-cheat that don't run.
In what way does capitalism "dampen" selfishness?
I read an article that China, while yes they are the outspending US in fusion research, also have exponentially more PhD's working on the research as well.
Just get a PC? Parts prices are low right now and they are far more useful than a console that has a "planned expiration" every 5-10 years.
But it's also hard to know what contemporary economists are arguing without reading those foundational writers
I'll share what a Harvard professor and copyright lawyer sent me in an email:
I write with a gloomy update for the Hachette v. Internet Archive appeal in the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals: The court affirmed the lower court's decision about CDL, and ruled that Internet Archive's Open Libraires program was NOT a fair use.
One shining moment though, was that the court ruled that a "Donate Now" button does not indicate "commercial use" for purposes of the fair use argument. (Phew!)
There is more to unpack here, but we will be hosting a series of CFR talks in the coming weeks to discuss the decision and it's implications.
she strikes me as the sort of person who listens to constructive feedback.> Is there a particular event or thing I can look up that she did to give you that impression?
At least one delivery per day...
Such a great game regardless! Romulus took some cues from the game and it definitely shows.
Or giant megacorporations each hire 200,000+ of them to create products for the non-magic folk to consume.
After a few decades, the idea of being a wizard is synonymous with working 8+ hours a day on magic that no wizard really wants and there is so little new spells and magic being created in the world that everyone wishes there wasn't any.
Then leaks come out that the products these megacorporations create have been slowly killing the planet and they've known for decades. But since they have so much power and money, nothing can stop them until the world dies.
I disagree. Trump surviving the asassination gave him a huge publicly. It should also be mentioned that Biden resigned shortly after, so this event really shook up the overall trajectory of the election.
Finding a good MusicBee alternative on linux. I just dual boot into windows whenever I need to convert FLACs and organize it. Otherwise I'm on Linux 99% of the time now.
Parents had one of these and we all collectively hated it. But it stood the test of time for 20+ years. This post brings back memories lol
