Open collective is meant for grassroots organizations, and from the looks of it liberapay doesn't allow for patron exclusive content, and is mainly intended for foss devs.
There isn't a good option for artists and content creators.
This is why I think it's so important for programmers to learn art and for artists to learn code. You find out there's so much more to the world than whatever hole you put yourself in.
I think this is the best way to visualize the problem rather than relying purely on moral arguments. Most people don't see much of a problem with killing an animal for lunch, you have to convey the sheer scale of the problem rather than relying on anecdotes.
It's cool, but I think using this sub as an umbrella for everything non-digital is a bad idea. It should either be renamed to physical art, or another community should be made for contemporary art.
The fact that it even took them this long to realize this was an awful idea speaks volumes.
