  • There's a QR code on each of these signs. In any case, if you want to know more:

    https://next-generation-eu.europa.eu/index_en

    It's basically a European organization that provides loans and grants to European initiatives. It seems to me a sort of World Bank, or international monetary fund, but just for Europe.

    What explains the recent surge of advertising you've seen:

    Since February 2024, many local campaigns have been taking place to show to citizens the positive impact that NextGenerationEU-funded projects have had on local communities.

  • Oh and of course the dead parrot!

  • The burn the witch sketch. I still show it to students to show how bad science and good science differ

  • Anyone who gets a wrong answer from a LLM got what was coming to them

  • Eliza!? That's one of the oldest chatbots to exist

  • Why is Jim Carrey reprising his role as The Mask next to Trump?

  • I don't think the quality of a social network is measured by their marketing campaign. Diaspora doesn't aim at a critical mass of users. It's quality over quantity

  • Let's not forget about the Diaspora project

  • Who developed the OSMand+ app then?

  • Thanks for all the answers. Final question, just out of curiosity: Why are two apps developed? Why not simply make the osm app better?;

  • Hi! Also a long time user of OSMand+ I'm going to have a look, but I have some questions for the community

    1. Does this app work as well for all parts of the world? I'm in Europe
    2. I have a subscription to OSM (just to support them). Would that be lost if I use this app?
  • Why is no one mentioning the Vampire porn?
