Im curious what the immigration system was like 30-40 years ago with the commonwealth countries, you wouldnt believe the amount of people here in canada that came from the UK, NZ and Australia who seem to have been here for 30+ years. I would imagine whatever system people moved around in the commonwealth back then is good and now.

also canadian immigration is a joke, you could buy your way in for 10, 20 grand at a shitpot immigration consultant and then take a low skill job, if it was ever about having desireable skills, it stopped being that way about 10-15 years ago...

people used to think I was on crazy pills because I for some reason used to point to 2008 as my favorite nostalgia year.

Nothing particularly major happened with mine, no sports team championship, no graduation, no first date, nothing like that, and my family was for the most part, well insulated from the financial crisis, we lived in a country that was less impacted anyway

2008 was just another year in the 2000s, I only remember it so well because of the small little gaming communities I had joined online when I was 16, Still talk to and hang out with them today at 32.

Any American who decides to just go along with orders of an invasion of an allied country , will be treated as such. An illegal occupant, an enemy combatant, a legitimate target.

No matter how anyone wants to spin it. Soldiers have options, they may be thrown in the brig for insubordination, they may be forced to frag their officer and go AWOL. But choosing to just go along with your orders, Illegal or otherwise, is complicit guilt in the crime.

the simple truth is that 95% of these people are not able to immigrate, they aren't wealthy, they aren't skilled. No country would take them.

Immigration is a tedious process, Its a pipe dream for many. For a time I thought I would Immigrate to the UK when I was dating someone there, years later I realized I didnt have a chance in hell unless we were married. that was the only path that was available to me.

Wrestling Isn't Sports. But it also isn't fake. Not entirely. the outcomes are usually scripted, and theres a card they are usually following (Sometimes, they aren't. Whether its a botch, a shoot, etc) (botch means a mistake, a shoot means someone's not acting, and they're throwing real punches)

but the acrobatics and "stunts' people are doing, are very real. an incredible amount of effort and skill is needed to have the physical ability and timing to make the stuff look real for the kids and cameras
